Founder, Green Nudge
Li Seng is the founder of Green Nudge, a green events business that leverages on behavioural insights to educate and advocate for lower environmental footprint at mass sporting events and corporate functions. With the aim of shifting norms and changing behaviour, Green Nudge works with companies and event organisers to reduce their environmental footprint and achieve a zero waste outcome in their events.
Li Seng previously spent about 4 years in the government sector dealing with financial regulation and educating consumers on financial matters. Realising that his interest lies in the cross section of behavioural science and sustainability, Li Seng took the leap and started his own initiative turned business to provide holistic solutions to meet the waste management needs of events, as well as drive environmental education through learning journeys in Singapore.
Since its inception in early 2018, Green Nudge has been involved in more than large scale events in Singapore including OCBC Cycle, Sundown Marathon and TEDxPickeringStreet, and its clients include government agencies, multinational and local corporations.
Li Seng is a recipient of the inaugural OCBCCares Fund for the Environment, launched by OCBC Bank in 2017 to provide full funding to ground-up proposals to address environmental sustainability issues in Singapore.
